It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it...

We were honoured to be invited to visit one of Spain's most famous vineyard's this April. The Emilio Moro vineyard dates back to 1891. Don Emilio Moro of Pesquera de Duero started a viticulture tradition over a century ago and the tradition lives on. The winery is located along the Golden Mile of the Ribera del Duero. They offer vineyard, tapas and wine tasting tours in the increasingly popular enotourism area. Theirs goal is to produce intense and unique wines and they do just that.

John Aungier accompanied by Susan & Dee from The Brass Monkey and Lynn and Nina from Twenty2 who met with the team from Cassidy wines who import the Moro family wines to Ireland. We brought Pierre, our Brass Monkey mascot for the trip. He thoroughly enjoyed posing on the wine barrels.

We had an incredible wine tasting afternoon on site in glorious sunshine at Emilio Moro Bodegas sampling their selection of reds, whites and rose. We shall be stocking their wines from Cassidy Wines in The Brass Monkey and Twenty2 restaurant and hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

Many thanks to Cassidy Wines and the Emilio Moro vineyard for a memorable visit.
