Sail into Howth this summer

Dublin Bay Cruises makes a great Dublin day out. Family fun in Howth with a boat trip, dolphin and wildlife watching followed by a Tapas Sharing Platter with wine or beer at The Brass Monkey, West Pier, Howth.

Roll on the summer!

Did you know you can sail from the city centre of Dublin to Dun Laoghaire and Howth then around Ireland's Eye and back again?!

Well you can, with Dublin Bay Cruises. I had the pleasure of meeting the crew aboard the St Bridget this May as they docked for a break at The West Pier, Howth. There's nothing quite like the view from the water.

Darren the shore manager, Captain Eddie and all the staff offer a warm welcome which will delight any Dublin visitor young and old. With a wealth of local knowledge and a pristine ship it's a pleasure for all ages. There are different route options for shorter trips, return by DART or one way.

There is plenty of wildlife to spot, we saw seals, pods of dolphins, gannets, gulls and many birds on our trip. There's a heated indoor cabin, an outer deck and upper outdoor seating deck so whatever the weather you're covered. It is advised to book beforehand but they do take walk on's if the boat is not full. Details below...
